Sir Spencer has revisited one of the most beloved songs from his ‘The First’ album, providing a fresh, Jazz and Soul infusion take on Love Is Taking Over (Relit).

‘Love Is Taking Over’ was co-written with and features the multi-talented Jason Peterson DeLaire - Michael Bolton, Flyte Time Productions, Himself - on vocals, sax and production. The vibe and sentiment of the song perfectly evokes those early moments of a relationship when you just have let go and see where the emotions are going to take you.

With bass and backing vocals provided by none other than St. Paul Peterson - The Family, The Time, Himself - and string arrangement and performance from Ricky Peterson - Fleetwood Mac, Paisley Park, Himself - Love Is Taking Over (Relit) has the touch of Minneapolis musical royalty. Sam Brawner - Raquel Rodriguez, Blue Dream Studios - provides those laidback yet insistent drums to round out the band for this dream of a track.
